Barn Owl

Animals have long been used as personal symbols and totems. It is easier to explore the emotions that we have outside of ourselves, transferring them to a much safer entity. The Fawn having just learning to stand, straddles the cusp between innocence and knowledge. The Magpie, is a loyal bird yet also a thief and highly susceptible to distraction. The Barn Owl exemplifies compromise and calm. The Owl makes its home in an unnatural setting that suits it far more than its natural habitat.
